Established in 1993, Southwell Golf Club has developed into a beloved local course that offers a challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. The course features two contrasting nine-hole layouts; the Front 9, nestled within Southwell Racecourse, is known for its numerous water hazards, including the iconic 7th hole, a 138-yard par 3 with an island green, reminiscent of the famous Sawgrass. This signature hole is a must-play for any visiting golfer.

The Back 9 presents a different kind of challenge, with tree-lined fairways that demand precision and accuracy off the tee. While the holes are not overly long and present opportunities for birdies, the narrow fairways and small greens can lead to dropped shots, making it essential to keep the ball straight. The course measures 5,773 yards with a par of 70 for men and 5,232 yards with a par of 72 for ladies, ensuring a fair and enjoyable test for all.
